Robotics education for everyone

The democratization of robotics starts with robotics know-how for everyone. With our digital content, we provide skills in the field of robotics.

Our partner courses

In addition to our own courses, we work with partners to develop custom content for their products on our platform.

FRANKA Production 3 Core-Kurs

This core course is the basis for working with the FRANKA Production 3 robot. Besides general basics of robotics, you will get to know the FRANKA Production 3 in particular. The course shows you how to program the robot and how it can be used for specific applications.

Please send us a message if you are interested in the course.

1

The Robot System

The first part deals with the robot system, the FRANKA EMIKA Production 3. It will be explained how to unpack, assemble and commission the system. Furthermore, the operation via the Desk and the Pilot as well as the safety features are discussed.

2

Motions

The second part deals with the movements of the robot. There are various types of movement that can be implemented. These are described and implemented using the apps as examples. The difference between the types of movement is worked out.

3

Tactile Skills

Due to the built-in moment sensors in each joint, the forces on the robot arm can be measured. This enables new forms of interaction with the robot as well as capabilities. These points will be covered in the third part of the course.

4

Applications

In the fourth and last part of the course, the use of the robot in concrete applications is discussed. It will be shown how, for example, a pick-and-place can be realized with the apps. In addition, external communication via Modbus will also be covered.

Robotics can be this simple!

Lightweight robots enable simple, fast and intuitive programming. The necessary know-how for this is available from us at Skillbotics.com.

Lightweight Robotics Core Course

This course is the basis for your own robot application. You will learn the basics of robotics and the Panda robot system and learn practical skills for programming robot systems.

Together with TQ-Robotics and their core app package, we are launching into the world of lightweight robotics.

In this Lightweight Robotics Core course you will learn the basics of lightweight robotics using the Franka Emika robot as an example. You will also learn a lot about the TQ-Core package for app-based programming of the robot. This is the first part of the course. We start in part 1 with an introduction to the robot system, how to start it up, how to operate it, how to program it and much more. Afterwards in part 2 the robot motion will be the topic. Here you will learn about different types of movement, what to look out for and when to use them. Part 3 of the course deals with the tactile capabilities of the robot. Due to the moment sensors built into each joint, the Panda enables many new abilities that you probably haven't known from robots before. The most important comes at the end. The use of the robot to solve handling and assembly tasks will be covered in part 4 of the course. Together we will implement different applications with the robot. After the course you will be able to operate the robot system independently. You will be able to easily implement robot automation, i.e. program it. In addition, you will be able to better assess for which applications lightweight robots can be used. Come and get to know the latest robot technology. We are looking forward to it!

In this part of the Lightweight Robotics Core course, you will learn how to use the individual apps for a holistic robot application. We start with a short theoretical part about structured programming of robot tasks. Afterwards, we will look at important basic applications such as pick and place or component assembly. In addition, the implementation of logic, i.e. "what happens if ...", or "if ... then ...", will also be addressed in this part. At the end, we will discuss how to communicate with external devices, such as sensors.
